Ski trip.

There really is something to planning a trip and having everything work out so perfectly that it becomes legendary.  About a year ago, we headed to Brighton, Utah and Big Sky, Montana for some much needed snow time.  Living just outside of Boston can get you on the slopes quickly and if you ski the east you can ski anywhere..but there’s something about higher elevations that some may find to be at their benefit.  After a sad, icy, lackluster season throughout the country, we headed to Brighton with our fingers crossed and BOOM: Day 1: Pow Day.  There is nothing like waking up to 3 feet of light, beautiful snow.

We stayed in our friend Mike’s cabin just down the road and all 6 of us slept where there was room without complaint.  He owns Java Joint Coffee Cart at the base of the mountain so a quick espresso shot in the morning and we were ready to go.

Day 3 : Pow

Day 4 : Bluebird

As temps began to warm up we decided to head up to Big Sky, Montana.

Six hours on the road, one western sunset and local knowledge brought us great food, more pow and sunny days on the hill.  Where are your favorite places to ski or ride?

go here. bring your snowmobile.
